Formal Kilts
Made to order in Scotland (KF13W made in Wales) with a minimum of 8 yards of Premium Wool or Poly/Viscose Tartan. Hand–stitched pleats and lots of attention to detail make these some of the finest kilts in the world. We generally recommend a medium weight or heavy weight kilt. While there are more than 1,000 tartans to choose from, not all tartans are available in all weights. Because we work with 8 different woolen mills to bring you the largest possible selection, the kilts below are devided based on each suppliers price and availability. Premium Wool Formal KiltsWoven and made to order
in Scotland (KC13W made in Wales) from 100% new wool in your choice
of light weight (11/12oz), medium weight (12/13oz) or heavy weight
(15/16oz) tartan. Light weight wool makes a nice kilt, especially
for hot weather wear. However, if your tartan is available in medium
or heavy weight we generally recommend these weights for durability
